Pay Range:  $160,000 to $180,000

 

Job Summary

Luxor is an industry leader in developing furniture solutions that foster collaborative, functional, and productive work environments, and we are seeking a skilled Senior IT Manager to join our team. Headquartered in Waukegan, IL, this is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role responsible for providing daily direction, prioritization, and execution across Luxor’s IT architecture, systems, capabilities, and support.

This position directly leads a team of four and manages the full IT ecosystem, including ERP (NetSuite), CRM, eCommerce platforms, EDI, PCI compliance, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, desktop support, analytics, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in NetSuite administration/optimization, CRM management, and AI/automation tools that streamline workflows and improve business intelligence.

The Senior IT Manager is both a strategic partner and a roll-up-your-sleeves operator—driving project management, change management, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement. This leader will expand and automate system functionality, integrate third-party tools, improve data flow, and deliver scalable technology solutions that accelerate Luxor’s growth.

Essential Job Function

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four IT professionals, fostering a positive, high-performance culture.

• Provide coaching, training, and ongoing development to ensure strong technical capabilities and exceptional service delivery.

• Attract and retain A-player talent while building future leadership within the department.

• Establish KPIs for service levels, systems performance, and project execution; report weekly and monthly progress.

• Hold staff accountable for meeting SLAs while modeling a hands-on, service-oriented leadership style.

• Conduct performance reviews and create development plans aligned to Luxor’s business needs.

  • This is an in person role and supports our distribution center Monday-Friday. The team is on site Monday-Thursday currently.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Functional

• Serve as the primary IT business partner for functional leaders across Luxor.

• Lead end-to-end ownership of Luxor’s ERP (NetSuite), including configuration, optimization, reporting, workflows, and integrations.

• Oversee CRM platforms (Salesforce or equivalent) and drive automation to support sales, marketing, and customer teams.

• Identify and implement AI and automation tools that simplify workflows, reduce manual tasks, and enhance analytics.

• Act as project manager for major system upgrades, integrations, and business-critical initiatives.

• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and system performance challenges.

• Manage the IT budget, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.

• Oversee internal user support, ensuring responsive, customer-focused service across help desk and infrastructure.

• Partner with Corporate IT on security, risk management, architecture, and documentation standards.

• Build and maintain 1–3 year IT roadmaps that align with strategic business goals.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend solutions that support automation, digital transformation, and scalability.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Job Requirements

Skills and Abilities Required

• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead, coach, and work alongside the team.

• Expertise in NetSuite ERP: workflows, dashboards, reporting, integrations, API, and configuration.

• Strong experience with CRM systems (Salesforce strongly preferred).

• Practical experience with AI/automation technologies (e.g., workflow automation, RPA, AI-driven analytics, integrations).

• Proven ability to lead IT operations including infrastructure, networks, help desk, cybersecurity, and analytics.

• Ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships, influence leaders, and translate technology into business outcomes.

• Demonstrated project management and change management leadership.

• Strong communication skills and executive presence.

• Experience in process mapping, Lean, Agile, or Kanban methodologies.

 

Education and Experience Required

• 5–8+ years of progressively increasing IT leadership experience in a complex, multi-site environment.

• 3+ years managing and developing IT teams.

• 2+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration or management.

• Experience managing CRM, eCommerce, EDI, and systems integrations.

• Experience supporting infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user services.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

 

Technical Requirements

• Strong NetSuite experience (required).

• CRM administration experience (Salesforce strongly preferred).

• Experience integrating automation or AI tools across systems.

• LAN/WAN, firewall, Active Directory, VoIP, and Office365 support experience.

• Help desk system administration and workflow optimization experience.

 

Certifications (Preferred)

• PMP, PMI-ACP, NetSuite Administrator, Salesforce Admin, or related credentials.
