Your primary responsibility is to maximize the performance of our Amazon and other Marketplace channels to meet or exceed set financial objectives for the channels. You will establish and implement marketplace strategies and best practices and oversee the execution of tactics to maximize profit from Amazon and other online marketplaces such as Walmart, Wayfair, Target, New Egg and others.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:

  • Own the channel strategy, revenue and profitability achievement, roadmap & execution, including listings, content, reviews management, conversion optimization, personalization, A/B & multivariate testing, etc. 
  • Execute to deliver monthly and annual Channel revenue and profitability goals
  • Drive growth and profitability by optimizing our product assortment, bundles, and variations strategy for each marketplace.
  • Coordinate product setup, including copy, images, enhanced content, keywords, attributes, and other product data with internal and external partners.
  • Oversee all aspects of Amazon and marketplace product listings, ensuring product accuracy, clearly articulated value propositions, and conversion optimization, including:
    • Creating and updating product detail pages and associated A+ content
    • Conducting SEO keyword research and related copy creation (both frontend and backend)
  • Develop and oversee the execution of revenue and profit growth strategies involving ratings and reviews, paid advertising, promotional strategies (coupons, lightning deals, etc.) and product listing optimizations.
  • Work with internal and external paid teams to optimize profit from paid campaigns.
  • Optimize performance based on key marketplace KPIs such as organic ranking, Buy Box rate, ROAS, TACOS, and ACoS.
  • Continually assess priority of activities to maximize profit across all marketplaces.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Brand, and Finance to identify and optimize pricing levels.
  • Actively monitor and react to the competitive landscape (pricing, content, promotions, reviews, etc.).
  • Focus on product rankings related to key search terms and work with our Digital team to improve existing rankings and identify new ranking opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand into new and underserved marketplaces.
  • Work with our operations teams to proactively assess and address inventory needs.
  • Oversee partner relationships, serving as the primary liaison.

 

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

 

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data and marketplace analysis tools

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience with marketplaces
  • 3+ years of experience in marketplace management with demonstrated success in growing the marketplace sales and profitability over time
  • 2+ years of experience managing Amazon Seller Central, in both FBA and FBM environments
  • 1+ year of experience managing Walmart and other marketplaces preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced level expertise with channel management tools, such as Channel Advisor, Feedonomics, Zentail, Linnworks, etc.
  • Intermediate expertise with Amazon and other marketplace pricing and merchandising research tools such as Jungle Scout or Helium10
  • Hands on ERP system use, with full understanding of the Order to Cash cycle, Inventory, Operational Reporting, and Master Data.  Netsuite strongly preferred


Computer equipment and level of software requirements:
