GENERAL PURPOSE:

Concentrates on maintaining and growing assigned account base in conjunction with Sr Key Account Specialist and National Account Manager. Inside Sales Support should work with clients to understand their business issues and offer ethical solutions to meet their needs. Inside Sales Support should be establishing and expanding relationships with key executives and decision makers within assigned accounts, to help meet company profit and sales goals.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:

  • Service & retain assigned accounts
  • Develop, maintain, and grow sales relationships
  • Daily pricing, phone calls, emails, freight quotes, etc.
  • Complete account maintenance and administrative work
  • Create & maintain customer records
  • Meet company profit & sales goals

 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interacting with other departments; including; purchasing, marketing, accounting, order entry

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Strong written and verbal skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 1-year of sales experience
  • High school diploma or GED

 

Computer equipment and level of software requirements:

  • Intermediate Excel
  • Outlook
  • Experience using CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience using ERP systems (Sage preferred) to review customer and product data
