Job Summary

IMAGEN Brands is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to assist the Human Resource Director on aligning HR business objectives with employees and management. This position would be located at our Mason location and works directly with the Human Resources team.

 

Job Responsibilities

A HR Coordinator would be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) and employees
  • Coordinates recruiting within our ATS system including sourcing, phone interviews, in-person interviews, coordinating meetings with managers, offer process, etc. for assigned location(s) and provides assistance during peak seasons at other locations
  • Organizes onboarding for assigned location(s) and provides assistance during peak seasons at other locations
  • Collects and prepares payroll for submission to Corporate
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR leadership to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Coordinates training programs to ensure success; follows up to ensure training objectives are met
  • Administers LMS training and ensure completion of assigned modules
  • Co leads Safety and Employee Engagement committees to increase awareness and buy in
  • Maintains accurate records within HRIS system and communicates to corporate about updates
  • Conducts employment verifications
  • Updates communication boards weekly to ensure the most up to date communication to employees and within compliance regulations
  • Maintains time and attendance records for all employees
  • Provides assistance to employees with myEBSCO questions
  • Occasionally travel for career fairs, community events and to other company locations as needed

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 0-1 years’ experience in Human Resource related role including internship experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills

  • PHR/SPHR
  • Familiarity on SuccessFactors modules
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
