JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Title: Multimedia Designer

Reports To:  KwikBoost Digital Marketing Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

 

GENERAL PURPOSE:

 

KwikBoost, a manufacturer of commercial mobile device charging solutions is looking to add a Multimedia Designer to their creative team. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this highly-collaborative position will provide a full range of print, digital, and web-based projects, including 3D renderings, in support of KwikBoost’s direct-to-consumer sales channel. Additionally, the role will work with the production team to prepare the finished artwork required to produce custom graphics that can be applied to KwikBoost’s full line of charging products.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Partner with the sales and production teams to prepare print files for daily orders of customized graphics; maintain a high rate of production while maintaining accuracy, quality standards, and meeting/exceeding production deadlines
  • Work closely with the Marketing department to design and produce marketing communications materials such as sell sheets, flyers, advertisements and banner ads, packaging, product instruction sheets, presentations, email and social media campaigns, website product pages, landing pages, and trade show materials that reflect the KwikBoost brand standards.
  • Work with 3D modeling programs, such as KeyShot, to add and animate products in 2D and 3D environments
  • Manage production of marketing communications from concept through execution.
  • Prepare and upload web content (product photos, content, and graphics).
  • Provide project status and ensure projects are delivered on time and meet business and budget requirements.
  • Maintain customer design files in a file storage system

  • Bring innovation and creativity to marketing communications and stay on top of trends in the design profession
  • Drive continuous improvement by collecting data and identifying process improvements to improve efficiency and productivity in the department and across departments
  • Assist and support your manager on projects and tasks as requested

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

 

  • High-level interpersonal and professional communication skills to work effectively with individuals and teams of staff with different levels of technical expertise. 
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to foster and develop ideas
  • Advanced graphic design skills and aesthetic sensibility; photography and videography skills are a plus
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, working on several projects at once, often with tight deadlines 
  • Ability to work as a member of an integrated team in an office environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive, can-do, solution-oriented attitude

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

  • Work History Requirements:
    • Minimum 5 years of Graphic Design experience required

 

  • Educations Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent in work experience)

 

COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND LEVEL OF SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • 3D modeling software (KeyShot preferred)
  • WordPress experience a plus
