GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Inside Sales Support role provides support to the Inside Sales Territory Leader by helping them to close deals via phone and email, and customer support by providing product knowledge, shipping quotes, assisting with spreadsheets and other various day to day tasks as needed. Also, provides support to Account Executives in the field, and in dealing with customers or prospects who make general inquiries by contacting the sales department.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and grow sales relationships
  • Daily pricing, phone calls, emails, freight quotes, etc.
  • Complete account maintenance and administrative work as delegated by supervisor
  • New customer onboarding
  • Create & maintain customer records
  • Meet company profit & sales goals

     

    OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interacting with other departments; Order Entry, Warehouse

  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Data entry skills
  • Organized
  • Goal oriented
  • Works collaboratively and excels in a team environment

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Two years’ sales support or account management experience

     

    Computer equipment and level of software requirements:

  • Intermediate Word
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Beginner Outlook

    Beginner CRM system experience

 

Specific Knowledge, licenses, certifications REQUIRED:

 

  • None
