GENERAL PURPOSE:

Concentrates on servicing and maintaining assigned account base in conjunction with Sr Key Account Specialist and National Account Manager. Account maintenance focused on supporting customers through various communication and portals, projects completed in Excel, confirming pricing and order fulfillment. This is an entry level sales position.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:

 

  • Complete account maintenance and administrative work
  • Project completion including product uploads and data entry and manipulation via spreadsheets
  • Service & retain assigned accounts
  • Daily pricing, phone calls, emails, freight quotes, open order report etc.
  • Create & maintain customer records in CRM

 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Interacting with other departments; including; purchasing, marketing, accounting, order entry

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

 

  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Data Entry
  • Organized

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

  • 1 year sales experience
  • High school diploma or GED

 

Computer equipment and level of software requirements:

 

  • Intermediate Excel
  • Outlook
  • Experience using CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience using ERP systems (Sage preferred) to review customer and product data
