Concentrates on maintaining and growing assigned key accounts focusing on the reseller relationships. The Channel Sales Rep assists with account planning and maintenance, day to day account interactions, pipeline management and quote generation to help meet company profit and sales goals.  This role will participate in webinars, phone conferences and outbound sales related activities primarily focusing on deepening the relationship with their assigned accounts and prospecting to generate new business. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Service, retain and grow assigned accounts
  • Schedule calls with resellers and their representatives
  • Qualify and onboard inbound reseller leads
  • Prospect for new reseller partners and new sales opportunities
  • Collaborative selling by educating resellers and driving awareness products
  • Utilize Salesforce/CRM to generate and maintain pipeline
  • Generate quotes and process orders
  • Provide order and shipping status updates

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

  • 1-3 years sales experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience

 

Computer equipment and level of software requirements:

 

  • Intermediate Office Skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience using CRM (Salesforce preferred)-willing and committed to leveraging CRM software to improve sales effectiveness and sales team results
  • Experience using ERP systems to review customer and product data
  • Preferred web conferencing Teams/Zoom skills and comfort level interacting with customers and prospects through these virtual tools
