eCommerce Marketing Analyst

GENERAL PURPOSE: 

 

The eCommerce Marketing Analyst will support the Marketing Manager to accomplish our ambitious growth plans. They are responsible for managing the performance of our online products and campaigns so that they meet or exceed budgeted revenue at or below budgeted cost. Specifically, they will be responsible for all aspects of our Amazon listings, advertising, and running and analyzing tests. They will be implementing new product listing and launches, maintaining our existing portfolio of products, and seeking new opportunities for growth via new channels, new products, or new functionality. Requires an analytical, detail-oriented individual who is deadline driven and able to stay organized while multi-tasking. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

Amazon Marketplace Management: 

  • Understand the competitive landscape to keep our portfolio up to date, including price, photo, text, and positioning changes 
  • Manage channel specific advertising opportunities, example lightning deals 
  • Continuously improve listings and pricing to ensure they are market competitive, and have addressed recent customer comments 
  • Create text, bullet points, and backend keywords for products 
  • Ensure listings are live, accurate, and are maintaining page rank. Troubleshot / brainstorm to fix products that are off ramp

     

    Advertising & Reporting: 

  • Daily, optimize ad campaigns and make changes to budgets and keywords 
  • Weekly, spend time learning about and implementing new best practices to improve online advertising performance 
  • Run weekly reports on Sales by Channel, Sales by SKU, Product rank, and Ad performance, and enact changes based on them 
  • Manage substantial advertising budget to ensure we meet or exceed ACOS goals on both a campaign level, and overall level, by channel 
  • Document and report on tests run across the business. Ensure tests are measurable, ensure they are measured, and enact business changes based on the results 

     

    eCommerce & Innovation: 

     

  • Manage product launches, including writing text and reviews tracking 
  • Continually update process and run tests to improve launch process 
  • Continually look for new products, channels, or tools to improve our sales and/or profitability 

     

    OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

     

  • Assist Customer Service in creating written content to customers 
  • Assist with SEO and SEM
  • Manage other marketplaces as determined by current priority levels

     

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 

     

  • Completed College Degree; Marketing related field preferred 
  • Analytical

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds 

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

     

  • Work History Requirements: 
  • 1 year prior Amazon or online marketing experience

    OR

  • Education Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a mathematical field
  • GPA 3.0 or better
     

    COMPUTER EXPERIENCE AND LEVEL OF SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS: 

     

  • Excel– basic
      

    SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 

     

  • None 
     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

     

  • None

     

    TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: 

     

  • Ongoing webinars in eCommerce Marketing, SEO, online advertising, and Amazon optimization

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, hear, read and requires the use of hands 
  • This position does not require the use or operation of special equipment
