GENERAL PURPOSE:

 

The Product Marketing and Launch Strategist is responsible for transforming business strategy into persuasive copy that drives increased awareness, engagement, and product consideration for the Stand Steady brands. They are also responsible for project managing launches and GTM efforts for our brands. This position will lead the organization’s product marketing content initiatives, including providing strategic consultation and preparing market and competitive insights while creating compelling and engaging content, in support of new business and customer retention initiatives.

 

This highly collaborative role works directly with Marketing, NPD, and Sales team members and is responsible for researching, positioning, and creating on-brand, high-quality, targeted content for multiple audiences, industries and products. Additionally, they will help shape the content marketing strategies for the Stand Steady and SideTrak brands and develop content plans that drive demand for every part of the buyer journey and customer lifecycle.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:

 

 

Product Marketing & Launches

  • Owns launch plans and leads project management of product launches, re-launches and (go-to-market) GTM processes and strategies for the Creative and Marketing teams; conducts internal project management of process and coordination of all components in order to meet launch and promotional deadlines.
  • Conducts market research and works directly alongside Product Development team during research and development stage. Including researching competitors’ products and features, reading competitors reviews, defining the product target audience, and keyword research.
  • Collaborates with Creative and Marketing partners on Marketing briefs for product launches, relaunches and other product promotions.
  • Writes copy in applicable brand voice for multiple mediums (product listings, ads, emails, etc.); edits and proofs content prior to publishing or go live; manages placements of all product marketing and sales content, maintains & reports on placements, channels and user engagement.
    • Write SEO friendly product descriptions, titles, meta data, etc. for the websites to drive click through rates, conversion rates and sales inquires
    • Set up and maintain product listing shells and content publishing and maintenance final content for launches in the various marketplaces and websites.
  • Provides reporting and analysis on launches, promotional efforts and sales, identifies trends and patterns, provides optimization suggestions, creates new opportunities.
  • Helps identify and create new opportunities to move the business and the brand forward.

 

 

 

 

 

Content Management

  • Manage writing and updating copy for ongoing initiatives which may include website landing pages, social media, communications sent from both Salesforce Marketing and Salesforce Customer Service modules
  • Manage ad hoc copywriting, such as ad copy, brochures, emails, social media, Sales team collateral and support, Luxor support, manuals and guides
  • Develops, writes, publishes and monitors all content related to product marketing and product launch cycles.
  • Develops content for sales and customer service teams as well as business development/sales enablement campaigns and collateral. Provides pivotal role in training other teams and sales channels.
  • Identifying and optimizing existing content to improve click through rates and conversion rates
  • Updating content based on Customer Service, customer, and return rate feedback

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

  • Work History Requirements:
    • 6+ years of work experience
    • Minimum 2-4 years copywriting experience
    • 2+ years e-Commerce experience preferred
    • 2+ years product launches and GTM campaign experience
    • 1-3 years project management experience
  • Education Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree

 

Computer equipment and level of software requirements:

 

  • Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Project management using software – Asana preferred
