Job Summary

Alys Beach is seeking a Guest Services Specialist who will be responsible for guest and homeowner services which includes Concierge, Front Office, and Reservations.  They will direct, implement, and maintain a service philosophy that adheres to the Alys Beach brand.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome owners and guests in accordance with the Alys Beach service standards
  • Maintain proper operation of telephone and adhere to the Alys Beach service standards
  • Answer owner and guest inquiries about services, facilities, restaurants, transportation, entertainment, hours of operation, etc.
  • Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow employees and other departments within Alys Beach
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Develop relationships with owners and guests to provide personalized service
  • Attend to guest comments verbally and written to ensure proper attention to follow-up
  • Adhere to all service standards for Guest Services
  • Participate in and support Resort and company efforts toward sustainability and environmental initiatives as part of the company program

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience in a customer service role
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Essential Job Functions

  • Greet and welcome owners and guests in accordance with the Alys Beach service standards
  • Maintain proper operation of telephone and adhere to the Alys Beach service standards
  • Answer owner and guest inquiries about services, facilities, restaurants, transportation, entertainment, hours of operation, etc.
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Develop relationships with owners and guests to provide personalized service
  • May require sitting for long periods of time in an office environment
  • May require lifting of up to 30 pounds

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a luxury resort environment
  • Experience in key rooms division capacities
  • Knowledge of Alys Beach and local competitive markets
  • Knowledge of Maestro property management system
