Job Summary
Moultrie is looking for a Vice President of People to partner with our leadership team to cultivate a world-class environment that attracts, develops, and retains A+ talent. The Vice President of People will have a strong focus on strategic leadership and building the systems and processes that are crucial for supporting continued rapid growth while maintaining Moultrie’s exceptional employee retention rate. This role will be based in Birmingham, Alabama, and report directly to Moultrie’s General Manager.
Job Responsibilities
HR Leadership:
- Mentor and develop a team of HR professionals to deliver exceptional service.
- Build mechanisms to reinforce our culture across hiring and onboarding, talent development, and rewards and recognition.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies and team capabilities with business goals through strategic planning cycle and talent review process.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Develop and administer HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead talent acquisition team that identifies, recruits, and onboards A+ talent to support Moultrie’s growth.
- Enhance Moultrie’s visibility as a top tech employer within Birmingham and the greater southeast.
- Ensure hiring managers are trained and adhere to Moultrie’s talent selection process.
- Performance & Development:
- Invest in our team by building and implementing a comprehensive employee training and development program based on organizational needs and employee goals.
- Expand role-specific skills development, general professional development, and leadership development.
Rewards and Recognition:
- Retain and motivate high performing employees by recognizing and rewarding achievement through annual performance reviews, promotion processes, compensation programs, and other tools.
Organizational Health: Cultivate a world-class environment that supports A+ talent.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in senior HR leadership roles.
- 5+ years experience leading HR best practices, including employment law and regulatory compliance.
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategies that drive business results.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
