Job Summary
We’re looking for a Growth Director to lead digital growth across our website and performance marketing channels. In this role, you’ll own our website as a top sales driver, manage paid campaigns, and use data to grow our reach with hunting consumers. The ideal candidate has experience in eCommerce, paid media, and analytics, with a passion for the outdoors lifestyle.
Job Responsibilities
Growth Vision & Website Strategy
- Leadership: Define the long-term vision of the website as the company’s primary conversion engine.
- Strategic Outcomes:
- Position the site as the central hub of customer experience and revenue generation.
- Shape a roadmap for growth through authority-building SEO, seamless user flow, and high-value content.
- Establish a customer-first digital experience that differentiates the brand in the hunting market.
Market Expansion & Performance Marketing
- Leadership: Set the strategic direction for multi-channel acquisition efforts across paid, social, affiliate, and influencer ecosystems.
- Strategic Outcomes:
- Scale reach and penetration within the hunting community while maintaining efficient CAC.
- Focus the media mix to maximize long-term ROAS and customer value.
- Expand brand visibility while acquiring new customers (paid & unpaid) across media platforms.
Growth Analytics & Decision Frameworks
- Leadership: Drive the Growth Team to deliver insight-driven decision-making across the division.
- Strategic Outcomes:
- Deliver real-time visibility into growth performance for executive leadership.
- Implement advanced attribution models to inform smarter investment allocation.
- Institutionalize reporting that drives proactive strategy shifts and sustained ROI improvement.
Organizational Leadership & Capability Building
- Leadership: Build and scale a high-performance growth organization with the right mix of in-house talent and external expertise.
- Strategic Outcomes:
- Establish a Growth Team that balances executional excellence with long-term strategic planning.
- Enhance operational efficiency through systems, tools, and scalable processes.
- Develop a pipeline of talent capable of sustaining growth momentum beyond immediate needs.
Growth Alignment & Brand Impact
- Leadership: Act as the growth ambassador across the company, aligning growth initiatives with brand values, product priorities, and sales objectives.
- Strategic Outcomes:
- Drive enterprise-wide alignment on growth priorities and resource allocation.
- Launch market-defining campaigns annually with measurable impact.
- Strengthen authenticity and trust within the hunting community through integrated digital experiences.
Job Requirements
- 7–10+ years in digital marketing, growth, or eCommerce leadership roles.
- Proven success in owning and scaling a DTC website as a primary revenue channel.
- Strong track record of managing multi-million-dollar advertising budgets across paid search, social, display, affiliate, and influencer marketing.
- Hands-on experience developing email/SMS programs that drive revenue, retention, loyalty, and customer lifetime value.
- Background in consumer brands, outdoor lifestyle, or enthusiast-driven communities preferred.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and agencies with measurable growth results
- Ability to build and lead high-performing teams, including agencies and contractors.
- Skilled at setting growth strategies and translating them into actionable roadmaps.
- Strong financial acumen: able to forecast, manage budgets, and align marketing spend to business goals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional leadership.
Essential Job Function
- Website & eCommerce Strategy: Skilled in shaping eCommerce growth through SEO, CRO, and digital experience optimization.
- Acquisition Strategy: Expertise in multi-channel advertising across paid search, social, influencer, and affiliate platforms.
- Retention & Lifecycle Marketing: Strong knowledge of segmentation, automation, and personalization to drive repeat purchases and LTV.
- Analytics & Growth Technology: Proficiency in growth analytics, attribution modeling, and leveraging MarTech stacks for data-driven decisions.
