Job Summary

The Brand Manager position will lead and manage one or more of PRADCO-Fishing’s brands.  This position will execute strategic, financial and marketing plans across the brand portfolio. Working with external and internal resources, this position is responsible for a brand’s profit, image and position. The Brand Manager is expected to collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Sales to meet customer needs.

 

Job Responsibilities

  •  Leads the profitable growth and expansion of POB Fishing product lines within brands in alignment with brand strategies and customer requirements.  Ensures product quality is maintained.
  • Work to ensure product lines support brand strategy and products align to consumer preferences defined in brand playbooks.
  • Identify opportunities to drive innovation and continuous improvement of the brand portfolio.
  • Complete key business analyses including: marketplace/share, competitive assessment, SKU rationalization, pricing/sizing analysis, and market research analysis and implications.
  • Develops pricing and pack strategies, improves margin mix, develops trade spending guidelines and distribution goals.
  • Develop, manage, administer, budget, monitor, and report on use of company resources as required.
  • Design and implement continuous improvement of various monitoring, measurement and reporting metric systems.
  • Marketing activities such as catalog content, public relations content, media budgeting and planning, in-store merchandising, retail training, field marketing and other activities as required.
  • Carry out other duties, responsibilities, and projects as may be assigned, in an effective manner.
  • Support and execute plans for local and industry trade shows and consumer events in territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers using effective and efficient sales calls and captures key customer and contact relationship data, driving profitability for the customer and POB.

 

Job Requirements

  •  B.S. or B.A. from an accredited college/university in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Three (3) years successful brand building experience required.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in project management with aggressive timelines.
  • Advanced level P.C.’s: Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook; PowerPoint.
