Job Summary
PRADCO operates a Distribution Center, which employs 75-120 people and processes thousands of deliveries per day. The DC Supervisor is in charge of supervising and developing a team of coworkers who provide distribution and light assembly to customers and consumers. This position collaborates with other functional leaders to ensure that the product is in the right place at the right time, with a focus on speed to shelf and quality, by leading and coaching others in teamwork, safety, and excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Engage with employees on all levels to drive company culture.
- Monitor hourly associates, direct staff according to production needs.
- Respond to internal and external communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilize tools within Microsoft 365 to relay information correctly.
- Meet daily shipping productivity targets.
- Oversee the picking and packing of customer orders and resolving any orders that require further assistance.
- Coordinate and oversee inventory movements across receiving, putaway, and replenishment functions to support efficient warehouse operations.
- Daily training of new hires, ensuring a positive first day experience and setting up new hires for success.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in logistics or distribution.
- 3+ years’ supervisory experience.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
Essential Job Function
- Employee must be able to walk and cover large areas throughout the shift on a regular basis and stand for up to ten hours a day.
- The individual must assist in making daily workflow decisions and adjust manpower as necessary.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively within the team as well as with other production personnel and staff members.
- Experience working with Microsoft OS and the 365 platform, as well as some iOS experience and the ability to interface handheld scanning devices to both.
- The work environment is typical of an unacclimatized warehouse, with air temperature fluctuating with the weather.
