The Vice President of Product is responsible for leading the product management and UX teams and defining the strategic product vision and roadmap to ensure success in the market. The role requires careful analysis and balancing of multiple inputs and feedback to determine product-market fit and prioritization, including end user feedback, retail customer requirements, engagement and retention metrics, internal feedback and ideas, competitive research and market dynamics, and company objectives and goals. In addition, the role will include defining and modifying the product development process to ensure strong cross-team collaboration and consistency from concept to release. Cross-functional communication is critical in this role, working directly with device and software development teams, product marketing, brand, sales, and customer success teams to ensure team alignment and product success. You have a hands-on leadership style and readiness to roll up your sleeves to help your team. You bring a strong customer orientation, developing and maintaining a deep understanding of customer use cases as well as a focus on experimentation and data to drive decisions and prioritization. You have a strong ability to lead and influence multi-functional teams across departments to ensure product success both internally and externally.



  • Build and lead a high performing team, recruiting to fill any gaps and mentoring existing team members across product management and UX
  • Reinforce a high confidence, low ego culture of continuous learning and winning as a team
  • Define and track team Objectives OKRs, focusing on retention, engagement, and ARPU metrics
  • Define the vision and strategy for both hardware and software product areas to drive meaningful revenue growth, taking into account company objectives, key stakeholder input, end user feedback and product usage, retail customer requirements, internal feedback, and competitive and market dynamics
  • Become deeply familiar with the target market, end user needs, retail customer requirements, and competitive products
  • Ensure cross-functional leadership and communication across device development, software development, UX, marketing, sales, and customer success
  • Know and understand the Agile scrum process, working closely with device and software development leadership to improve communication, quality, and velocity
  • Own and define the full product development lifecycle at Moultrie Mobile to ensure strong cross-team collaboration and consistency from concept to release
  • Define and track metrics on new and existing product features, understanding ongoing engagement and usage as well as the impact on customer acquisition and retention
  • Employ an experimentation approach to test and measure the performance of new tactics and strategies
  • Continually strive to improve the customer experience, with a focus on product quality, reliability, and performance
  • Manage and communicate the 12-month and long-range product roadmap across the organization, ensuring alignment with device and software development teams, UX, marketing, sales, and customer success
  • Create and manage annual product team budget
  • Work with the leadership team to make decisions that impact Moultrie Mobile


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • 7+ years of experience in product management at a high-growth consumer or SMB SaaS business
  • 4+ years of experience as a Senior Manager or Director managing a team of product managers
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile scrum product development processes
  • Self-starter and strategic thinker with the ability to put together strategic product and business plans
  • Strong product sense and the ability to inspire and lead a cross-functional team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills



Preferred Skills/Qualities:

  • Passion for outdoor recreation activities, especially hunting or fishing
  • Experience building a seamless user experience across both connected hardware and software (app) product touchpoints
  • Experience identifying and executing on opportunities to extend product into adjacent markets
  • Natural teacher and process builder
  • Experience with Asana
