Job Summary

Moultrie is looking to add a Senior Device Software Product Owner to its team. This role owns camera retention and NPS tied to the in-app camera experience. The full portfolio of camera features in the Moultrie App – new camera app features and existing features already in customers’ hands are owned by this role.  For new features, you own the path end to end: from one-pager to requirements to stories to execution to measured success. For existing features, you own the outcomes: if a feature has bugs, you drive the fix; if adoption is low, you figure out why, change it, or redirect focus; if a feature underperforms, you decide how to make it earn its place.

As a connection point between Device Product Management and Software Engineering, you will use a unique blend of business and technical savvy to make the company vision a reality. You are accountable for understanding, influencing, and translating the long-term product and platform plans into actionable work items for the software team – and for the results those work items produce. As a “high confidence, low ego” team player, you will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering (mobile, web, and IoT hardware), Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, and Sales to ensure the completion of visions and timelines set by the business, while staying current on the marketplace, the competition, and the latest software trends.
