Social Media Coordinator
Job Summary
PRADCO Outdoor Brands seeks a creative and team-oriented individual to join its Marketing Team as Social Media Coordinator. The Social Media Coordinator will optimize communication on various social media platforms for multiple brands within PRADCO’s Signature Game and Land Management division, with a focus on Moultrie, Summit Treestands, and Code Blue. In coordination with internal and external resources, this position is responsible for content development, execution, community engagement, and reporting across all applicable social media channels. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Manager and requires strategic and creative thinking, a passion for strengthening brand reputation, and the ability to work with a team to ensure growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Draft, organize, and execute content calendars that align with PRADCO Hunting’s strategic business plan and corresponding initiatives
- Ideate and publish day-to-day organic content across social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) to build meaningful connections that drive action
- Demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, along with excellent writing and proofreading skills
- Engage with and respond to feedback, comments, and messages
- Collaborate with Digital Production Specialist for creation of assets to use on social media, including photos, videos, graphics, etc.
- Work with Marketing Communications Coordinator to curate high quality content from partners and help identify future partnership opportunities
- Communicate regularly with each brand’s Product Managers and Engineers to ensure products are accurately represented
- Assist other brands’ marketing teams as needed within the PRADCO family (Texas Hunter, Whitetail Institute, and other potential future acquisitions) with development of social content, including brainstorming and creation
- Serve as liaison to internal customer service teams to guarantee customer communication is seamless and information is accurate
- Gather and analyze social media channel data and post statistics for regular reports that include KPIs and recommendations for campaign improvement
- Research social media trends and perform competitor analysis
- Perform other duties as needed for marketing initiatives, including assisting with photo/video shoots, attending promotional events, and other activities as required
Job Requirements
- B.S. or B.A. from an accredited college/university in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience-
- Successfully handling social media marketing, and
- Experience in completing and managing projects with minimal oversight and against aggressive timelines.
Essential Job Functions
- Plan, create, schedule, publish, and monitor content for organic communication on social media platforms to effectively represent each brand to customers and consumers
- Collaborate with business unit team members to ensure that brand messaging and brand standards are adhered to across all social media platforms
- Foster community with a unique voice for each brand
- Provide an in-depth understanding of existing social media platforms and identify emerging social opportunities to help grow each brand’s audience
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of fundamental market research techniques; demonstrated ability to develop research strategies to determine customer requirements and evaluate market competition.
- Possess superb organizational skills and outstanding track-record of social media project management
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook; PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite
- A background in the hunting, fishing or outdoor sporting goods market is highly preferred
