General Description:

The Sales Analyst is responsible for supporting PRADCO Outdoor Brands Sales Analytics team, Senior Leadership, Sales management, and General Managers by providing accurate and timely analysis and reporting of sales data. This position will interact cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and management teams.

 

Scope & Responsibilities:

  • The Sales Analyst will provide support to the Sales Analytics Manager through data compilation, report building and maintenance, and formulating insights/recommendations through data analysis and research.
  • Own and drive point-of-sale data integrity/quality. Work closely with third party vendors and the IT team in managing data flow and customer accounts.
  • Expand our point-of-sale data reach by finding new customers to partner with in collaborative analytics.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and participate in projects as needed.
  • Work with key customers on providing reporting and gathering analytics/research requests.
  • Work closely with managers and Sales Team to provide the necessary reporting and visuals for customer presentations.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Analytics Manger to effectively communicate and translate results to Sales and General Management Teams through efficient data visualization. Enable PRADCO Outdoor Brands divisions to make informed, data-based decisions by providing the appropriate tools that build a persuasive narrative around data.
  • Carry out other duties, responsibilities, and projects as assigned, in an effective manner.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Statistics (or related field).
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in either sales, marketing, or general business analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be very organized, detailed-oriented, and have excellent time management skills.
  • Highly proficient in utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity.
     
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Tableau, preferably with the ability to build and publish dashboards.
  • Experience in Customer analytics software (SPS Commerce, Retail Link, Vendor Central, Domo, etc.)
  • Knowledge of best practices in data visualization.
  • Experience in Microsoft Access, SQL, or other data analytics software.
  • Retail merchandising experience a plus.
