Job Summary

The Operations Program Manager works alongside the NPI Manager in Operations, partnering with Product, Engineering, and our ODMs to keep the operations workstreams aligned with the development schedule across cameras, accessories, and other connected devices - from concept through mass production, launch, and end of life. The role executes Moultrie's NPI Operations Playbook and coordinates the Operations deliverables across Sourcing, Manufacturing & Quality, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning at each gate. Success is measured by risks escalated and mitigated early, builds delivered to schedule, gate exit criteria met, ramp and yields delivered to plan, and meeting demand with ongoing production.

Job Responsibilities

  • NPI Phase-Gate Execution: Drive the Operations deliverables through each phase of the NPI playbook: early input to the business case, line and test-station definition, BOM baselines, build POs, and risk-build decision records.
  • Build Management (EVT / DVT / PVT / MP): Coordinate the EVT, DVT, and PVT builds at the ODM: place build POs, confirm material readiness, land test plans and draft work instructions, and verify IQC/OQC critical tests are identified before each build starts.
  • Launch & Ramp Readiness: Run the on-site MP-readiness review and the launch-readiness review cadence; manage ramp recovery against the daily ramp plan; drive to ramp-to-plan with no golden-sample waivers and no air freight; lead the post-MP retrospective.
  • Schedule & Milestone Management: Own the operations program schedule; track milestones and program spend to budget; surface delays early with a recovery plan rather than absorbing them.
  • Production Cadences: Run the weekly ODM production review (ramp recovery, material readiness, test-station performance) and provide Operations program inputs to the monthly S&OP.
  • Change Management: Coordinate ECO/PCN implementation from PVT through mass production and product decommission, keeping the ODM, Sourcing, and Quality aligned on cut-in timing.
  • Risk Management: Identify supply, test-coverage, and schedule risks throughout development; flag them early with the facts attached and track mitigation to closure.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate communication across engineering, product, sourcing, quality, demand planning, finance, and marketing so product specifications, build plans, and launch goals stay aligned.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Report program status, gate readiness, first-pass yield, and ramp attainment using established tools and dashboards; own hitting the program's schedule and readiness metrics.

Job Requirements

  • Program Management: 4+ years managing consumer electronics operations programs.
  • NPI Fluency: Command of the consumer electronics build sequence - EVT, DVT, PVT, MP - including build planning, FAI, first-pass yield, and IQC/OQC/ORT concepts.
  • ODM Experience: Experience running builds or programs through Asia-based ODM.
  • Change Control & Compliance: Familiarity with ECO/PCN change processes and with regulatory compliance and industry standards for consumer electronics.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in operations management, engineering, supply chain, or a related field (Master's or MBA a plus).
