Job Summary

Serves as administrator for several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, payroll, and employee records. Facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs and ensures labor law and regulatory compliance. Provides internal support and partnership to business lines to deliver required human resources. May evaluate, select, and oversee vendors that provide supplemental HR processes and services. Coordinates with HR support staff to process and maintain employment, attendance, and other records. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. P02-Intermediate : Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Coordinate and manage onboarding for all new employees, ensuring a seamless start-to-finish experience.
  • Support a positive workplace environment by identifying and addressing employee relations concerns. Collaborate with managers to develop fair and effective resolutions.
  • Analyze HR metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support leadership and staff by educating them on HR best practices and helping navigate complex employee issues.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of HR initiatives that drive engagement, compliance, and performance.
  • Serve as a trusted HR resource by providing consistent interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
  • Lead or assist with training sessions for supervisors and staff on topics such as conflict resolution, employee relations, and effective management practices.
  • Coordinate employee engagement and advocacy programs including philanthropic initiatives, employee events, and exit interviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the performance review process by providing tools, guidance, and recommendations to managers and leadership.

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of HR generalist or related experience.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into action.
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
