PRADCO Outdoor Brands is looking to add a Xamarin Developer to its Moultrie Mobile team. This position will be focused on implementing new features and creating solutions for the Moultrie Mobile platform, as well as other hunting division software projects.  We are looking for a highly skilled developer with mobile development experience. This position will need to have a solid understanding of component-based development, create clean, cutting edge, bug-free code, and responsive and semantic design. As a “high confidence, low ego” team player, the Mobile Developer will work cross-functionally with Product Development, Back-end Team, Customer Service, and Marketing Teams to ensure the completion of visions and timelines set by the business.  He or she will grow the business by thoroughly understanding the marketplace and competition, and by developing products that address consumer needs and staying abreast of the latest software trends.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Write and maintain our Xamarin Forms app. 
  • Demonstrate highly effective approaches to object-oriented software development based on industry best practices.
  • Review code and mentor other engineers.
  • Provide time estimates and participate in agile development.
  • Work with the dev team, product owners, ux designers, and stakeholders to get clarification on business requirements and then implement solutions with elegant and clean code.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field (or equivalent years’ work experience)
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to adapt and learn new technologies/processes
  • 4+ years of professional mobile development experience
  • 1+ years of experience in Xamarin or Xamarin Forms
  • 1+ years of experience using source control

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Passion for and demonstrated experience developing well-engineered software products
  • Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
  • Web Development experience
  • Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, App Center, .NET core, and/or SQL is  a plus
