What We’re Looking For:

This Grassroots Community Manager will be a critical player in our consumer marketing strategy. The Grassroots Community Marketing Manager will lead our Field Team, earned ambassador, and product seeding efforts while also playing a role in PR and content creation. This role will require excellent communication skills and a unique ability to quickly build relationships with field staff, ambassadors, and other content creators. 

 

This position works cross-functionally with brand, digital, go-to-market, product management, creative teams, and sales to align messaging and ensure our grassroots efforts lead to greater awareness and conversion online and at retail.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute a Field Team strategy that supports omni-channel efforts across digital and in-store events
      • Identify new field team members and create an onboarding process to educate them on upcoming efforts
      • Create incentive plans to engage with the team and encourage participation
      • Build a content strategy utilizing Field Team talent.
  • Partnerships - Working with the Sr. Brand Manager, create and execute an earned partnerships strategy to introduce Moultrie to new audiences.
  • Seeding – In partnership with the community team, build a product seeding process that aligns with company goals
  • PR Support – Partner with the Sr. Brand Manager on ad hoc PR efforts
  • Content – Work with internal and external resources to assist in content production across various channels
  • Data – Connect all initiatives back to data. Leveraging insights to quickly adjust strategies and test new ideas

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience with consumer products in the outdoors category.
  • Strong skills in building large structured pro staff & field staff programs
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with content creators and hunters
  • In-depth understanding of the dynamics of social media platforms including META, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with experience meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in hunting and/or outdoor products
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as Asana.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with social media platforms.
  • Content creation capabilities
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience creating visually compelling materials using PowerPoint or similar tools.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and adapt in fast-changing environments.
