EBSCO began in 1944, when our namesake, Elton B. Stephens, and his wife, Alys, started selling magazine subscriptions, magazine racks, and personalized binders to the U.S. Armed Forces. Over 70 years later, EBSCO has grown into a global company with more than 6,000 employees and more than 20 businesses operating around the world.
While we have expanded and evolved overtime, we continue to be driven by the same entrepreneurial spirit that inspired our founder, and we remain committed to helping our communities and our teams reach their fullest potential.
EBSCO is a family-owned business, giving us the freedom to make decisions that are right for our customers and employees. We strive to maximize profits with the knowledge that profits make things possible, and we invest past profits for future growth.
We hire passionate people, driven to grow, and give them the resources to thrive. In addition to a competitive benefits package, we are focused on growing leaders at all levels within our organization, providing opportunities for career growth across our diverse businesses, and our facilities offer several unique onsite conveniences.
