In this role you will:

  •  Provides administrative and operational support to existing accounts and clients. This may involve answering questions, furnishing supporting documentation.
  • Welcomes and directs visitors and clients appropriately.
  • Support new business by taking quote information and accessing carrier systems.
  • Complete agency bill payments for insured's and mortgagee's.
  • Input information and track activities in account management system software program
  • Receive and process mail, packages, and courier deliveries and distribute items.
  • Under supervision, issue, and process various insurance documents, such as Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Property Coverage, renewals, etc.
  • Under supervision, process policy renewal requests and endorsements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

You have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1-year prior experience in an insurance office setting
  • Some experience in customer service or administrative role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize frequent deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office

 

You may have:

  • Bachelor’s or other educational degree(s)
  • Current Property and Casualty license in the state of Alabama
  • CISR, CIC, CRM, CPCU or other professional designations
  • Experience using various agency management systems, including, but not limited to: Vertafore Agency Platform/AMS360/Work Smart/Image Right and others
