The Director of People will report to the President. This position is responsible for human resources including interviewing and onboarding  team members, administering pay, benefits, and leaves , and enforcing company policies and practices.  The Director of People is responsible for the full cycle of recruiting efforts within the firm, including campus recruiting and experienced hire recruiting. The Director of People will create a recruitment strategy to attract talent at all levels, coordinate and attend recruitment events, and manage the CRM system for candidate tracking and follow-up.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 


•    Coordinates, implements, and oversees operational HR activities: talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations and compliance
•    Participates in decision-making process with managers

•    Chair employee engagement committee
•    Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
•    Recruits, interviews, and guides selection of employees to fill vacant positions

•    Attends multiple university career fairs across the state
•    Champions the onboarding process, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision
•    Plans and conducts ongoing employee skills development and training programs

•    Guides performance review process to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization

•    Reviews salary information to ensure compliance and equity

•    Responsible for Timekey Administration, FMLA and employee assistance

•    Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records 

•    Conducts HIPAA compliance training 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 


•    Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field
•    3+ years progressive experience in an HR role

•    Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in building and interpreting HR related policies, procedures, and associated legal requirements 
•    Strong PC skills, including proficiency with MS Office to include Excel and PowerPoint required
•    Experience with applicant tracking software and reporting.

•    Occasional travel to different colleges and university career fairs

 

 PREFERRED SKILLS


•    Previous experience using SAP and/or SuccessFactors. 
•    Results orientation, creative problem-solving, high-quality decision making with a strong mindset for continuous improvement to meet or exceed expectations
