Job Summary

As a Solar Intern, you will support key initiatives across solar project development, engineering, and business operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to the renewable energy industry, allowing you to contribute to real-world projects while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills.

 

You will work cross-functionally with teams including Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Project Development to assist with research, data analysis, documentation, and project execution. This position is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career in clean energy and sustainability.

 

This role is detail-oriented and collaborative, requiring strong organizational skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. You will gain insight into the full lifecycle of solar energy projects, from early-stage development through execution and performance monitoring.

 

This position reports to senior team members and works closely with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Organize, maintain, and update project documentation and internal databases

  • Assist with preparation and review of project-related documents and deliverables

  • Support operational teams with administrative and coordination tasks

  • Help improve workflows and documentation processes

  • Assist with research on new markets, state-level regulations, and incentives

  • Support tracking of project opportunities and development pipelines

  • Contribute to preparation of proposals, bids, and client-facing materials

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Development teams

  • Support communication and coordination across departments
  • Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and planning sessions

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 

  • Basic understanding of solar energy concepts and systems

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team-oriented environment
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced industry
