Job Summary

As a Solar Intern, you will support key initiatives across solar project development, engineering, and business operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to the renewable energy industry, allowing you to contribute to real-world projects while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills.

You will work cross-functionally with teams including Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Project Development to assist with research, data analysis, documentation, and project execution. This position is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career in clean energy and sustainability.

This role is detail-oriented and collaborative, requiring strong organizational skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. You will gain insight into the full lifecycle of solar energy projects, from early-stage development through execution and performance monitoring.

This position reports to senior team members and works closely with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

Organize, maintain, and update project documentation and internal databases
Assist with preparation and review of project-related documents and deliverables
Support operational teams with administrative and coordination tasks
Help improve workflows and documentation processes

Assist with research on new markets, state-level regulations, and incentives
Support tracking of project opportunities and development pipelines
Contribute to preparation of proposals, bids, and client-facing materials

Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Development teams
Support communication and coordination across departments
Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and planning sessions

Job Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Basic understanding of solar energy concepts and systems
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team-oriented environment
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced industry
