Job Summary

The Manager of Capital Markets & Corporate Development is primarily focused on the ongoing capitalization of the business across bank lender relationships, tax equity investments, and corporate equity raises. This person will work closely with the Sales, Project Development, PMO and Executive teams on financing new projects and building profitable relationships with customers. Your main purpose is enabling the business to operate effectively via forecasting and capital access, then accurately reporting the results of those actions.

Job Responsibilities

Capital Markets

  • Build and maintain corporate financial model to forecast and manage capital needs
  • Work directly with company leadership to assess and improve company access to capital markets through implementation of new processes and / or strategies
  • Run financing processes in partnership with banking and equity partners, including creating financial models, preparing materials, and coordinating diligence
  • Support equity raises and investor engagements

 

Corporate Development

  • Assist in development and roll out of acquisition strategy, working cross-functionally to build processes and systems
  • Support analysis of acquisition and development opportunities
  • Conduct financial modeling and valuation assessments

 

Tax Equity & Other Equity Raises

  • Help oversee existing tax equity structures
  • Identify and evaluate new tax equity opportunities
  • Contribute to equity financing strategies

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or similar business-related field
  • 2-5 years in a similar capital markets or business development position
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, with prior experience with project finance highly preferred
  • Organized, diligent, responsible
  • Ability to work autonomously
