Job Summary
We’re seeking an IT Generalist to join our growing team. As the IT Generalist for Cherry Street Energy, you will be the main administrator, planner and implementor of our company’s information systems. This person will have high visibility across the organization with responsibility for all employees’ IT needs and managing all IT inventory. You will be expected to significantly reduce the Company’s reliance on our external IT provider by bringing most IT support in-house. This role reports to the Director of Internal Operations and Systems.
Job Responsibilities

Manage all employee IT onboarding / offboarding and hardware / software upgrades.

Collaborates with end users to diagnose and resolve technical issues across different systems and technologies, including hardware, software, and networks.

Analyzes business needs and contributes to the selection of IT hardware and software to support internal business processes while maintaining a budget.

Maintains detailed documentation of methodologies, processes, and specifications of an organization's IT systems and assists with the planning and scheduling of IT initiatives.

Installs and configures an organization's network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks and monitors network performance.

Implements basic security measures to protect systems, networks, and data and ensures backup strategies and recovery plans are up to date.

Manage Operational Cost of CSE Application Stack and maintain billing cycles of licenses.

Serve as the point of contact for the offsite IT team.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related area of study

Fluent in Excel

Experience explaining complex technical problems in non-technical terms

Outstanding oral and written communication skills

Experience managing an IT budget
