Job Summary

Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results. Records data from testing in standard formats and provides results to product and engineering teams. Assists technical teams with recommendations to resolve testing problems, roadblocks or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing. Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment. Typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. A02-Intermediate : Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Works directly on the production floor to ensure quality in processes and products outcome
  • Accurately and efficiently builds and assembles standard hydraulic power units
  • Performs incoming inspections on components as well as First Article Inspections on new cylinders from overseas suppliers
  • Understands and follows quality assurance systems, processes, and procedures
  • Inspect the quality of manufactured products to ensure customers’ needs are met
  • Interfaces with production, procurement, and customer service teams
  • Works collaboratively with many types of people within the company, domestically as well as internationally
  • Follows safety and security policies and procedures
  • Reports on any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions to the appropriate individuals
  • Conducts floor audits, calibrations, and incoming inspections
  • Reads and interprets written information including engineering documents
  • Follows all safety practices and guidelines while working including keeping work area clean and free of safety hazards
  • Selects and uses appropriate equipment, supplies and tools

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED
  • At least one-year work-related experience

Preferred

Work experience with hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic power units, and hydraulic systems
