Job Summary

The Vice President of Inside Sales, will help EBSCO Sign Group become the leader in complete sign solutions. This individual will help grow our business by supporting our mission to provide quality signs, to help our customers, and thrive through effective communication. S/he will help grow overall sales profitably by providing leadership over establishing processes, procedures and operating methods, which will help maximize growth and profit over the long term. S/he will continue to expand on ESG’s position as the trusted source of high-quality LED signs for its respective market channels we serve. S/he will expand the debt and breathe of our presence in these market channels and will help champion new products and product line extensions. S/he will accelerate our implementation of Sales Force Effectiveness while keeping abreast of developments in our respective markets, including applicable signage trends so that ESG can maintain and grow a leadership position in the market channels it competes in and identify new ones as required. The VP of Sales for ESG is a positive individual with strong leadership skills and a bias for action that thrives in a highly versatile position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve ESG’s objectives for products and services.
  • Oversees and drives implementation of Sales Force Effectiveness in EBSCO Sign Groups operating model.
  • Develop and manage Sales operating budget.
  • Develop and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
  • Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards, and industry and economic trends.
  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs.
  • Directs and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business, Sales & Marketing
  • 3+ years’ experience managing inside sales and 3+ years' of inside sales experience
