Alys Beach is seeking a Part-Time Credentialing Attendant to support the Alys Beach Resort Operations, Alys Beach Security, and Guest Services staff in greeting, monitoring access and credentialing of guest and owners at Caliza pool and Beach access. This is a new position located at Alys Beach, Florida and works directly with the Resort Operations, Guest Services staff and the Security Team.


Job Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet guests and owners
  • Provide physical presence at Caliza pool and Beach access to disrupt/deter unauthorized access 
  • Check credentials to ensure pool patrons are authorized guests or owners
  • Assist patrons with access to towels
  • Assist with housekeeping in the absence of attendant
  • Interact with owners, guest and other employees
  • Coordinate with Alys Beach Security for removal of unauthorized/disruptive persons from pool area
  • Provide general information to visitors and guests about Alys Beach and its amenities
  • Warn or eject troublemakers and caution careless persons


Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Satisfactory background check
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a professional manner
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Must be extremely friendly and enjoy meeting new people
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to walk on uneven and wet surfaces, climb stairs, ladders, ramps, etc.


Essential Job Functions

  • Provide physical presence at Caliza pool and Beach access to disrupt/deter unauthorized access
  • Check credentials to ensure patrons are authorized guest or owners
  • Provide general information to visitors and guest about Alys Beach and its amenities
  • Remaining even tempered in stressful situations


Preferred Skills

  • Proficient and certified in CPR, First Aid, AED
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to recall names and recognize individuals by name and visual appearance
