Director of Marketing

Job Summary

IMAGEN Brands is looking for a Director of Marketing for our Mason, Ohio location. This position would report directly to the Vice President of Marketing  and would implement initiatives and strategies for the company from a marketing perspective.


Job Responsibilities

A Director of Marketing would be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Collaborates with the Vice President of Marketing to implement corporate advertising, creative, social media, and branding initiatives, as well as support broader sales processes including pre-sales materials and partner/affiliate marketing support to achieve sales goals objectives.
  • Oversee all marketing channels including, email, online & print advertising, tradeshows, catalogs, social media, sponsorships, SEO, PPC, Macro/Micro Influencers, and direct mail.
  • Develop and oversee activation and launch plans, ensuring the execution of programs that expand brand identity and product solution awareness
  • Ownership of the optimization of the company website and affiliate Ecommerce marketing platforms, including cross-selling, upselling, end-of-order messaging, etc.
  • Consistently identifies new ideas, approaches and insights to grow within the existing customer solution portfolio/product assortment
  •  Conducts thorough and actionable data analysis to identify opportunities to reach new customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
  • Maximizes the productivity of the advertising budget and internal resources; reallocate resources from marginal programs to new ventures and programs that provide a greater return. Responsible for meeting budgeted expectations for sales and marketing contribution.
  • Analyzes competitor products, trends, sales and marketing activities with a focus to refine and improve unique selling propositions and tactics
  • Evaluate, negotiate agreements with, and manage vendors.
  • Works with outside vendors and third-party marketing partners to efficiently grow sales and contribution.
  • Works collaboratively with internal teams to help prioritize marketing activity, implements process and workflows that drive value for clients and result in scalable growth opportunities.
  • Builds high performing teams and relentlessly focuses on the development of talent

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Sales, or Marketing or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible marketing experience in B2C or B2B Marketing or Promotional Products industry; must be a recognizable leader in the industry with at least 3 years of experience of supervisory experience within a marketing department
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time based on business needs both domestically and internationally
