The Paid Search Specialist is responsible for the planning, creating, optimizing and analyzing search campaigns, which includes text ads, shopping ads, display advertising, remarketing and shopping feed campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess a strong paid search background with some knowledge in SEO. Candidate will be fully accountable for campaign performance and reporting with the ability to effectively plan, implement and communicate recommendations. Candidate must be experienced and comfortable reporting results and educating colleagues in the art and science of paid search marketing. You will also be excellent at driving results, being able to coordinate multiple projects on-time, anticipate bottlenecks, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:


  • Forming effective paid search strategies
  • Launch and optimize various PPC campaigns
  • Conduct keyword research and selection for pay-per-click campaigns and SEO projects
  • Share keyword selections and audience targeting
  • Monitor budget and adjust bids to gain better ROI and reach goals
  • Track KPIs to assess performance and pinpoint issues
  • Produce weekly, monthly and on demand reports
  • Write attractive and concise copy
  • Suggest and develop new campaigns across multiple channels
  • Maintain partnerships with PPC ad platforms and vendors
  • Find ways to reduce risk of click fraud
  • Keep abreast of PPC and SEM trends
  • Provide ongoing support of all SEO initiatives including reporting, analysis and optimization recommendations
  • Proactively make strategic PPC campaign recommendations.
  • Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates
  • Optimize landing pages for quality score and conversion rate




  • Other duties when needed





  • Proven experience as a PPC Specialist
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing concepts
  • Familiarity with multiple platforms (e.g. AdWords, Facebook, Amazon)
  • Working knowledge of analytics tools
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Analytical thinking with strong math skills
  • Ability to compile and analyze search data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction
  • Ability to perform click through rate, conversion, spend and creative analysis to identify growth/optimization opportunities
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Magento or similar eCommerce platform experience is a plus




  • Work History Requirements:
    • Minimum of 1 year in paid search experience
    • Some SEO experience
  • Education Requirements:
    • Minimum of Associates degree, Bachelor’s preferred
