GENERAL PURPOSE: 

 

Stand Steady believes in the power of creativity as a competitive advantage to building our business and our brands. Stand Steady is seeking a highly skilled, self-directed Creative Project Manager to support the ever-growing multiple brands; Stand Steady, SideTrak, Tubstr, Line Leader, and others across web, email, social media, video content and digital advertising.  This is a high visibility, cross functional role responsible for efficient project management throughout the entire lifecycle of all creative projects.  The Creative Project Manager must have a creative eye and will define project scope, develop timelines and milestones, plan and manage project resources, monitor project status, facilitate project reviews and communication, and ensure delivery requirements and deadlines are met.  The Creative Project Manager must be an independent thinker and have strong leadership skills with the proven ability to motivate those around them as well as the ability to prioritize work from multiple stakeholders and resolve roadblocks for the team.   

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 

  • Manages projects/programs/campaigns through the entire lifecycle: planning, creative, production, delivery, and retrospectives.  

  • Defines project scope, including timeline, resources, labor hours, and external costs 

  • Facilitates project-related team meetings (i.e. kick-offs, status, internal/client reviews, etc.), and communicates action steps to the broader team 

  • Manages, organizes, and distributes all project documentation, including creative briefs, strategic plans, status reports, deliverables lists and post-project retrospectives 

  • Communicates project statuses at recurring cadences, identifying and troubleshooting issues/roadblocks 

  • Ensures deliverables and deadlines are communicated to all internal and external parties 

  • Monitors workflow efficiency to ensure the team is working efficiently on a day-to-day basis 

  • Evolve and improve processes for all aspects of project delivery with a focus on maximizing quality, collaboration, transparency and speed  

  • Aligns with creative team leadership on high level priorities, resource allocation and availability to ensure peak efficiency across creative team 

  • Ensures adherence to all deadlines 

  • Understand team members strengths and growth areas 

  • Promote fruitful communication and mitigate friction for cross functional projects  

 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Interact and collaborate with Customer Service, New Product Development, Operations, and Marketing Departments for both SideTrak and Stand Steady  

  • Assist with other departments and functions as required 

  • Special projects as needed  

  • Occasional travel for conferences and tradeshows 

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 

 

  • Proven experience with project management applications and tools (Stand Steady utilizes Asana)  

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines 

  • High attention to detail including precise and effective written/verbal communication 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously 

  • Strong passion for building a great user experience and impactful marketing campaigns  

  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is expected 

  • Creative problem solver who is passionate about inventing new ways to approach marketing efforts 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

 

  • Work Requirements 

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in creative project management at an advertising agency or in house Creative or Marketing department  

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in creative project management of work across at least three (3) of the following deliverable types - video, photography, print/OOH, radio, direct mail, digital display/rich media, email, website design 

  • Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • Experience can be substituted for education
