Essential Job Functions
- Develops and implements sales & marketing strategic and tactical plans to achieve stretch sales growth objectives
- Gain and maintain a thorough knowledge of markets, customers & competitors
- Actively seeks out new opportunities and new customers
- Develop proposals to present to clients / prospective clients
- Ideates Merchandising Solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the customers in the region
- Communicates customer needs to internal teams
- Strong communication skills that can be leveraged in group presentations and one-on-one meetings
- Oversee projects to ensure the customer experience is exceptional
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years of business development experience, preferably for the display industry
- 3 or more years negotiating and building relationships with outside customers
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field preferred, but not required
- 2 or more years of experience in designing displays for retailers
- 2 or more years in a manufacturing environment
- 1 or more years of experience in merchandising for retailer or consumer packaged goods company
- Ability to speak before an audience with poise & confidence
- Ability to work well within an office environment and with shop personnel, as well as remotely
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly
- Experience developing and presenting Power Point presentations
