Job Description:

Grand View Media is looking for a Marketing Art Director who understands the importance of integrated marketing — from sales-support materials and print advertising to all things digital. We want someone who can align creative strategies with marketing strategies and design creative that focuses on meeting client objectives while pushing beyond the status quo. If you are an innovative, creative, conceptual thinker who loves the ways design works to build brands and grow sales, then we want to talk to you. You will work on a variety of projects including websites, print and digital campaigns, sales-support materials, promotional collateral and merchandise, exhibitions and events, corporate identity and more. You will partner with our marketing, content and sales teams to elevate our position in the marketplace.

 

You will:

  • Lead creative strategy and execution for marketing team
  • Work with content creators, marketers, designers, sales, etc.
  • Support, contribute to and collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative ways to visually showcase programs. (Yes, you will be involved in one way or another with virtually every project.)
  • Oversee projects from concept to completion
  • Create and maintain corporate templates and branding
  • Media kit design and execution across multiple brands
  • Coordinate layout and design for a variety of publications and marketing collateral such as landing pages, marketing emails, print and digital ads, eBooks, proposals, trade show booths and promotional merchandise
  • Plan, attend and direct creative initiatives
  • Contribute to overall marketing and sales initiatives
  • Manage outside vendor relationships
  • Report directly to the Marketing Director

 

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and with a group
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Desire to work with multiple brands across varying industries
  • A self-starter able to manage time effectively and juggle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent command of graphic design principles and practices, formats, typography, digital/print design and layout
  • Solid presentation, listening and communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (MailChimp, Marketo, etc.) a plus
  • Experience with video production and editing a plus
  • Experience with front-end web design (HTML/CSS, WordPress/CMS knowledge) a plus

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Design or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in creative/design (submit portfolio/examples)
  • Proficiency in all relevant software, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.
