Alys Beach is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to assist the Vice President of Community and Development Planning in all aspects of future development and planning for the Alys Beach Residential Community.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the development process for all commercial projects (Condo Development, Beach Club, Fitness Center, etc.)
    • Facilitate communications between AB and architects, consultants and general contractors
    • Manage contracts with parties above (schedules, invoicing, etc.)
    • Assist in design review process
    • Manage development budgets
  • Assist in managing the Life-of-Project Pro Forma (LOP)
    • Participate in prep of all sensitivity analyses re: absorption rates, pricing escalation, etc.
    • Participate in all ad-hoc land studies and product pricing exercises
  • Participate in the leasing process for available commercial space on property
    • Establish LOIs, Leases with assistance from in-house legal counsel
    • Establish pro formas
  • Establish communications/presentations between Alys Beach and EBSCO Management
    • Including routine updates and requests for capital
  • Assist in managing all Homeowner Associations across Property
    • Establish all operating budgets

Job Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree, prefer Finance degree
  • Experience in Real Estate
  • Experience in Financial Reporting
  • 0 to 3 years experience

Essential Job Functions

  • Must be flexible with work schedules
  • Must be comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • Must be comfortable in giving presentations clearly and leading meetings as needed
  • Must be able to respond in a timely manner to all requests from HQ, senior leadership team, consultants, architects and general contractors
  • Maintaining and updating all files and budgets as needed
  • Strong project management and problem-solving ability
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Must be self-motivated and excellent team player

Preferred Skills

  • Prior Real Estate development and planning
