You Will:

  • Provide daily support for the storage infrastructure (NetApp on-premises/public cloud)
  • Ensure that all supported environments are monitored to provide alerts when there are problems (including performance); when problems arrive, root cause analysis is completed
  • Ensure that all supported environments are documented, including procedures for their use and management; examples of documentation are project plans, business continuance, installation procedures, troubleshooting tips, system diagrams and topology
  • Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of new projects/technologies and ensuring that the solutions are available and performant
  • Be prepared to collaborate with governance and control groups (e.g. regulatory and operational risk, compliance and audit), provide your subject matter expertise and consult on risk issues related to Engineering technology and tools.
  • Work on provisioning Infrastructure as a code using scripts, implement highly scalable and resilient AWS environment.
  • Provide day-to-day support and management of infrastructure including 3rd party hosted data centers and cloud-based systems. Assist with the creation of the migration process of legacy systems to the company's public cloud environments.
  • Work closely with members of the IT management team to select technology platforms and provide input to long term planning and architecture for storage resources.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of external development, engineering and emerging solutions, market conditions and their impact.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or Information Technology preferred) or 4 years equivalent experience
  • You will support 7x24 on-call
  • Experience with Network Attached Storage in large enterprises - NAS (NetApp preferred), 3 years
  • Core AWS skills including: VPC’s, ALB/NLB, ASG, EC2, ECS, S3, EFS, Storage Gateway, API Gateway, Lamda, SNS, SES, Route53 and CloudFront, Encryption/KMS/CloudHSM, Inspector, Macie, IAM policies/roles, Shield, WAF, CloudFormation, Terraform
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages and related tooling (Python, Ansible, Bash, PowerShell), 3 years
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and common CI/CD workflows (Git, Jenkins), 3 years
  • Experience with storage system security concepts(best practices for installation, configuration, patching, etc.), 5 years
  • Advanced understanding of Storage Networking concepts, Block storage, Fibre Channel, Cloud storage, data replication, virtualization, and distance extension technologies
  • Operational experience supporting enterprise class systems in a 24x7 high availability environment, 5 years
  • Experience with high availability concepts with practical experience and implementation of key components (databases, application servers, fault tolerant systems, cluster server/software, etc.), 3 years

 

Target Annual Salary Range: $104,105 - $148,720. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
