Senior Software Engineer I


The mission of the Senior Software engineer I is to design, develop, code, test, debug and customize information technology (IT) solutions for LearningExpress's internal and external clients. You will apply best practices and advanced methodologies, including Scrum techniques, to address and review system requirements, business processes, changing development, and technology environments. The ideal candidate will be able to solve complex problem, work independently or in a team setting, lead projects, have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives, and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or other Technical related degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience in the following areas:
    • Object Oriented Programming language (C#)
    • JavaScript framework such (Angular, Node.js)
    • Software design and development with hands on experience in RESTful Web Services
    • Databases (Relational and/or NoSQL)
    • Source code management tools such as git


Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud Technology such as AWS
  • Agile/SAFe Framework
  • Automated Testing
  • DevOps or automated software deployment
