The Accredited Provider Programs Manager will be responsible for supporting the Director(s) for our Accredited Provider Programs in maintaining accreditation and recognition status for a portfolio of Clinical Decision products and programs.  The manager will oversee specific programs and work collaboratively on overall program management initiatives. Applying both clinical knowledge/experience and knowledge of accreditation expectations, the manager will assure accreditation policies and standards are achieved. The candidate must have the ability to analyze and critically appraise accreditation standards, stay updated on changes and translate standards into EBSCO accreditation processes/practices. Healthcare experience is required. Accreditation experience preferred.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain existing accreditation and recognition program status
  • Apply for new accreditation programs,
  • Complete annual reports and progress reports for filing,
  • Oversee payment of annual dues and other fees, and
  • Communicate accreditation changes to internal team members and outside parties, as appropriate,
  • Maintain current with policies and standards with one or more accreditation and professional groups
  • Conduct internal reviews related to policies/practices adherence and implement communication and re-education strategies (emails, webinars, presentations) to ensure adherence to standards of accreditation bodies and professional groups
  • Collaborate with the editorial leadership team to Identify educational needs of health care provider professional practice gaps for CE/NCPD (Continuing Education/Nursing Continuing Professional Development) activities through review and evaluation of user feedback via the following channels:
  • User feedback reports, content evaluation online feedback mechanisms and calls to our Customer Service Team
  • Advisory Committees
  • Suggestions from authors, peer reviewers, and evaluators regarding CNE/NCPD activities
  • Collaborate with Editorial Clinical Leadership, and HP consultants regarding CE, NCPD activities and NHP Team initiatives, including attending weekly meetings
  • Developing and maintaining accreditation documentation such as:
  • Accreditation library and archives for each of the accreditation programs documents
  • CE & NCPD activities (RN evaluations, summary evaluations, planning design documents)
  • Complete annual reviews of planning design documents completed in previous year
  • Participate in annual Summit and Board Meeting(s), as requested
  • Creating and conducting education programs as requested
  • Promote EBSCO Clinical Decision products/services by supporting sales and marketing efforts

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current nursing licensure
  • Previous experience in health education field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated success in project management, administration, and collaboration across multiple teams
  • Demonstrated ability to reach decisions, take appropriate action and follow-through within scope of responsibility
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize across co-occurring deadlines
  • Demonstrates flexibility – understands that change is necessary, embraces challenges, partners with others to accomplish company goals
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to develop and complete projects independently
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service (internal and external)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with content management systems, Rally, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of medical and nursing procedures with appropriate terminology
  • Prior experience managing accreditation programs, process and projects
