Accessibility Intern – EBSCO Information Services

Brief Overview

  • Hours will be variable, but no more than 10 hours per week
  • This is a fully remote internship

 

Duties:

  • Review training content for accessibility and usability
  • Review websites and mobile apps for accessibility and usability
  • Learn to document accessibility issues and map to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
  • Create tutorials for specific accessibility training scenarios

 

Proficiencies and Competencies:

  • Familiarity with screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (iOS) or TalkBack (Android)
  • Understanding of Web Accessibility Guidelines is strongly preferred
  • Ability to organize issues and communicate clearly is a must
  • Familiarity with business norms and professional communication is a must
