Role/Mission

  • To be responsible for all aspects of Italy & Israel Legal Entities Finance & Accounting Department.
  • To develop strong accounting accuracy and fiscal compliance through structured processes, internal controls, cost
  • discipline and forecasting accuracy.
  • To lead and develop the Finance & Accounting team, managing their day to day activities, setting targets and
  • providing performance management

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee collection process and ensure that team accurately allocate customer payments received, manage cost of interest related to outstanding Accounts Receivable;
  • Ensure accurate processing of all credit / debit / adjustments requested;
  • To understand, prepare and update reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
  • Resolve financial queries and disputes that are brought to FM attention. Ensure team can resolve enquiries promptly & accurately
  • Manage, coordinate and control the monthly financial closing process under local GAAP, including system controls, liaison and agreement of accruals and provisions, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting of actual results.
  • Support US accounting teams in monthly closings and year-end closings according to local and US GAAP.
  • Work with management to produce annual budgets and forecasts, variance analysis and commentary, proposing corrective actions when appropriate.
  • Participate and contribute in SAP system developments
  • Gather data and complete monthly and yearly VAT declarations and other Tax obligations
  • Organize, coordinate and oversee tax processes with external advisors, management and US Head Office
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial inputs, drive sustainable compliance with regulations and policies. Assure proper controls are in place and maintained.
  • Support business with qualitative analyses on finance and performance statistics related to the business.
  • Establish team objectives to ensure the highest levels of operating performance, and take responsibility for team development
  • Hold regular reviews and formal appraisals for the team, setting goals and providing constructive feedback

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in economics or comparable
  • Previous experience in a similar role (+7y) in an international network or multinational company
  • Experience in Italy tax regulation
  • Basic knowledge of Israel tax regulation is a plus
  • Business acumen to understands the market trends and Company goals

  • Fluent English
