The EBSCO Health Professional Services Team (EHPS) works with clinical staff from healthcare organisations, principally in hospital or primary care, who have purchased one or more of EBSCO’s point of care tools, to ensure they derive the maximum benefit from their investment in those tools.

The Implementation Manager will be a visionary with the ability to execute and deliver results, as well as being detailed-oriented, possessing ah high comfort level with healthcare technology and clinical workflows, with strong communication skills, and above all focused on customer service.  This role is vital to ensure widening awareness and value of EBSCO Health products, with the aim of increasing their usage and ultimately the revenue they generate.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as EBSCO Health primary point of contact for clinical users.
  • Work with clients to encourage take-up of the service by clinicians.
  • Work with clinicians on-site in the clinical workplace or at events, such as conferences, to promote the service and help users learn to make the most effective use of it.
  • Share ideas that emerge from contact with users and, where appropriate, help prepare presentation material that highlights them.
  • Communicate product feedback to product management teams, monitor and escalate product issues when necessary.
  • Periodically assist sales staff in demonstrating EBSCO Health products to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure they are aware of activities, successes and challenges.
  • Liaise with hospital IT teams to ensure access is correctly set up, including through hospital EPR systems

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and basic use of Excel; familiarity with using Web-based services

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BSc) or equivalent, preferably in Healthcare or IT related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working as a clinician or in a healthcare information role
  • 60-80% travel across Australia and New Zealand
