Mission:
EBSCO’s Product Management team is looking for a creative and motivated individual who, like us, has a passion for data reporting, innovation, problem-solving, and financial acumen to drive cost savings along with continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be a passionate problem-solver with excellent analytical skills, who is comfortable navigating large data sets from multiple sources, and clearly connects technology solutions with measurable business value. The analyst will constantly seek ways to improve and automate day-to-day operations for the team and build reporting with key KPIs to inform business decisions. The position is a great fit for a motivated self-starter who loves to drive sustainable solutions for real business problems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide reporting and analytical support by creating and maintaining key reports and self-service dashboards using Tableau to provide relevant information on third-party production to business stakeholders and support leadership in making effective, data-driven decisions.
- Responsible for the development and tracking of key financial metrics, including key KPIs and staffing models, across all external partners to ensure that financial cost savings are measured, tracked, and meet the needs of the business.
- Assist in the management of product management financial review revenue and costs across the business operations, which includes a monthly review of costs with analysis and explanation of variances, forecast projections at a product level, and participation in the budget process.
- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders in product management, identifying business needs, determining, and carrying out necessary processes and practices, implementing key metrics that drive operations, monitoring progress and results, and driving improvement opportunities.
- Identifies new opportunities and solutions and determines new and improved methods and tools that could lead to future process improvements (in particular, ways to automate manual processes and develop automation solutions across product management).

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years of experience in a business analyst role
- Working and development knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Data Analysis – Must have proficiency with relational databases, SQL, Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Experience extracting and analyzing large data sets
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience with Tableau
- Knowledge of the Publishing Industry
- Strong organization and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
Target Annual Compensation Range: $78,150 - 111,640
