EBSCO’s Field Sales group is currently seeking a Corporate Regional Sales Manager for IA, ID, IL, IN, MI, MN, MO,MT, ND, OH, OR, SD, WA, WI, and WV.

This position handles all of our product lines and categories including:

  • Software as a Service
  • Business & STM Research
  • EBSCO Health Solution
  • Corporate Learning


The Corporate Regional Sales Manager will sell EBSCO Information Services products to both, for- and not-for-profit corporations, as well as, local and state government agencies.  Additional accounts may be added or deleted as deemed necessary for EBSCO Information Services.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new business both with existing and new customers
  • Support renewals of existing business across the assigned territory
  • Work in conjunction with the Vice President of Sales and Inside Account Executive
  • Achieve an established new sales growth and renewal quota each fiscal year for EBSCO Information Services products
  • Travel: (60%) (local and some overnight); including attendance of conferences and sales meetings as deemed necessary by Sales Management
  • Achieve an expert level of knowledge of EBSCO solutions, products and competition
  • Provide input from the market for product development and marketing purposes
  • Develop sales strategy for your region for overall sales of EBSCO products
  • Average 25 face-to-face or web-based visits per month with prospects and/or customers


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience selling into the corporate market
  • Experience with selling into the C-suite   
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time
  • Must live within the territory
