Overview
EBSCO Learning is looking for an experienced marketer to help grow the EBSCO Learning business. The Product Marketing Manager develops and directs marketing programs for products focused on skills development and learning targeted to businesses, governments, federal and state workforce development programs, and other institutions. The Product Marketing Manager works collaboratively under the direction of the leadership of EBSCO Learning to develop and implement marketing programs which increase awareness of EBSCO Learning and generate sales leads.

Primary Responsibilities
- Works closely with the SVP/GM of EBSCO Learning and other leadership on the development of marketing strategies and priorities.
- Develops, executes and measures strategic marketing programs for a portfolio of skills development and learning products to build awareness, drive lead generation and sales, support product adoption and renewals and inform purchasing decisions.
- Establishes marketing strategies, including product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans and future product development, to manage a product or product category's life cycle.
- Coordinates and implements the planning and execution of the marketing programs with many internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepares and coordinates product introductions and updates.
- Brainstorms strategies to further increase brand awareness and lead generation in target markets.
- Has knowledge of marketing best practices; is aware of and studies competition and the factors that differentiates competitors in the market.
- Creates engaging content for email campaigns, newsletters, blog posts, and other communications materials.
- Produces marketing collateral including “at-a-glance” sheets, flyers, infographics and other materials as needed.
- Creates and updates presentations and other materials as determined outlining product vision, technical direction, features, functionality, and workflows.
- Tracks and communicates marketing plans and results of marketing campaigns to EBSCO Learning leadership.
- Ensures ongoing customer outreach and education through newsletters, webinars, and other means as determined.
- Plans and executes webinars in coordination with external and internal stakeholders.
- Measures and analyzes results from programs and uses that knowledge to drive improved results.
- Writes copy for any/all applicable marketing materials and campaigns with assistance/coordination other EBSCO Learning team members as needed.
- Works closely with the PR and social media team to develop an effective social media strategy and drive social engagement.
- Works with channel managers for graphic design, web development, search engine marketing, and conventions & events to create effective multi-channel Marketing efforts.
- Supports the EBSCO Learning Sales team with any/all applicable Marketing materials.
- Supports the implementation team with any/all materials needed to increase end user engagement.
- Work directly with key partners as needed to optimize outreach and market engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years experience in marketing.
- 5+ years experience in managing complex, deadline driven marketing projects.
- Experience with key marketing tools in the areas of email marketing, social media, SEO, lead enrichment tools, and graphic creation.
- B2B marketing experience required.
- Experience in product launches, retention marketing and brand awareness campaigns.
- Experience with SEM, social media, 1:1 marketing via marketing automation and other modern and traditional marketing approaches.
- Strong planning and rigorous project management skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize, be detail-oriented.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills (native-equivalent fluency in speaking and writing English required).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the areas of skills development, education, EdTech, corporate learning a plus.
- Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) marketing experience a plus.
- A team player who works well across groups and departments – an excellent collaborator.
Target Annual Compensation Range: $90,770 - $129,670. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
