This role supports the growing conferences & events team. Gain an understanding of how to use conferences & events as a sales tool and a tactic in marketing. Assist to manage the evolution of our conference portfolio, help to build our metrics and reporting, participate in coordinating housing, building agendas, etc. Some additional responsibilities include data entry, reporting, project management tools and meeting requests. Support the team as needed, no project is too small.



  • Manage all aspects of an assigned event from pre-planning, financial planning, determining resource needs, pre-event marketing, and on-site coordination, to post event follow up
  • Assist in planning National tradeshows, internal communications, tracking documents, etc. as needed
  • Develop effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supervise booth, assign duties, and provide general direction at tradeshows as needed
  • Manage sponsorship requests as needed
  • Assist in writing copy for social media, blog posts, emails
  • Order supplies as needed for events
  • Order and maintain conference/sales promotional giveaways
  • Travel up to 10% required

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business, or Communications
  • 2+ years’ experience within the events industry, customer service or a related field, preferred
  • Travel up to 10% required
  • Must be able to participate at the exhibit booth and travel throughout the conference
  • Must be able to move boxes up to 25 pounds


Preferred Experience

  • Corporate experience, preferred
  • B2B Marketing experience, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as in conducting Internet research, preferred



Target Annual Salary Range: $48,205 - 68,865
