Basic Function:

In this role, the Market Coordinator for Russian Federation and CIS Countries will work closely with international sales and marketing team to effectively position EBSCO in the territory through multiple channels and tactics.

The international marketing coordinator will create a consistent marketing approach, support the needs of sales and customer engagement team, and support conferences for Russian Federation and CIS Countries. He/she will work across multiple areas of the business to help drive sales by assisting in the development of compelling product positioning, creative messaging and innovative marketing strategies.

 

Essential Functions:

The marketing coordinator will plan and execute campaigns utilizing a variety of channels and tactics as appropriate for the region. Specifically, the marketing coordinator will:

  • Create fiscal year marketing plan and quarterly tactical plans for Russian Federation and CIS Countries that drive lead generation, product adoption and renewals, and influence purchasing decisions of EBSCO products
  • Draft and/or localize marketing content including blog posts, newsletters, infographics, flyers, web copy, emails, event/training invitations and sales collateral to drive demand and awareness of EBSCO’s product lines
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of marketing programs with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with social media team to develop an effective social media strategy and drive social engagement
  • Facilitate ongoing communication with Russian Federation and CIS Countries sales and customer engagement teams.
  • Create customer engagement materials such as posters, user guides, infographics and HTML for customers to send emails to end users for major product lines
  • Manage and organize participation at conference, including workshops, meetups and panel discussions
  • Secure speaking opportunities at conferences, on panels and other sales driven events
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to adjust and improve approaches
  • Maintain, update and continuously enhance the Russian Federation and CIS Countries website and be part of the ongoing process of localizing new company’s websites
  • Work on other projects as needed / directed by marketing management
  • Cooperate closely with the marketing coordinators within the Central & Eastern Europe territory

 

Skills or experience you need 

  • Minimum 2 years of marketing experience in content management and localizing of projects is essential
  • Prior experience in working in library and/or academic fields is a plus. 
  • Bachelor or master degree in marketing, business, communications or information sciences
  • Be native speaker fluency in Russian
  • Present proficient knowledge of the English language in speech and writing

 

Skills or experience that sets you apart 

  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft office, work management, marketing automation and graphic design programs a plus (Workfront, Marketo, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
  • High understanding of Social Media platforms applicable for the region (VK, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Proactive, positive and can-do-attitude
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities and be team player and active listener
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadline
  • Excellent organization skills
