Biomedical Regional Sales Manager - Sydney, NSW OR Queensland

Sales Manager -  selling EBSCO technology products - databases, point of Care Tools, Search/Discovery products, eBooks, learning and development resources to customers in the Biomedical market covering the territories NSW, QLD, NT, WA, Papua New Guinea & Fiji.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our Biomedical accounts in these states & territories with a 60:40 split of renewing existing business and new growth business, you will work in-conjunction with an Account Executive.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Meeting & exceeding KPI’s as set by the Director of Sales – Biomedical & Corporate
  • Managing existing market accounts in the territory
  • Developing 12-month strategic sales plans and executing quarterly tactical S&M campaigns
  • Developing new business through all facets of lead generation
  • Communicate sales activities and competitive positioning through frequent sales reporting
  • Leading business engagement through solution selling and supported by analytics
  • Report to Director of Sales – Biomedical & Corporate
  • Achieving half yearly new sales & renewals targets

Requirements:

  • 4 years Sales Manager experience ideally in information technology products
  • Exceptional customer service through consultative selling skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Valid Australian Drivers License
  • Tertiary qualified in a related discipline
  • Ability to work unrestricted in Australia

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Administrative skills to maintain accurate data in the Customer Relationship Management system
  • Advanced sales presentation skills, being able to clearly and persuasively communicate with an audience of any size
  • Be proactive, highly driven and creative as well as having the ability to establish best-practice
  • Proven sales experience in successfully managing existing accounts in a professional and objective manner
  • Clear sales achievements in new business development – researching, identifying and converting new opportunities
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a sales team environment
  • Sales experience in the information services, e-resources and technology industry is highly desirable
